I have spent the majority of my life taking care of others. I am the strong one, the one everyone always goes to when they need help. In May 2018, I was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor that shook my family to its core. I underwent brain surgery and spent the summer recovering. I was not able to move around a lot, so I spent a lot of time thinking. Having a brain tumor had nothing to do with my weight, but it was definitely a wake-up call. I knew I needed to make a change in my life so that I could grow old with my husband and be around to watch my boys grow up. I knew that I needed to make little changes, so in August 2018, two days before I went back to work, I decided to give up Pepsi. I’ve been drinking about four cans a day for many years…and that’s all I drank. That went surprisingly well and I haven’t had one since!

I drive about 40 minutes each way for work every day, so I spend a lot of time in the car. I’ve heard Brittany Styles talk about Nu You on the radio for a long time. Out of curiosity, I started following the Facebook page and people I know started popping up there losing 10, 20, 30, etc. pounds. I thought, wow people I actually know are doing this and having great success, maybe this is the place for me. I’ve tried everything else, maybe I should give this a shot.

The thing I enjoy most about NuYou Weight Loss & More was the ease of the

programs with the proper education from the wonderful staff. The staff are

always willing to listen and give you suggestions if you are struggling. They are

also very committed to making sure you feel a sense of achievement after you

start losing. It doesn’t matter if you have 10 pounds to lose or 100 pounds, they

give support and encouragement throughout your program.

I feel like a totally different person already and I have only been on my program

about 3 weeks. Losing the 15.5 pounds and 10 ¾ inches that I have up to this

point has made me feel so much better about myself both inside and outside. My

self-esteem and attitude have improved tremendously. I am excited to see how I

look and feel once I reach my goal.

I have struggled with my weight since graduating high school.  It has progressively gotten worse since my knee pain has increased.  I wasn’t exercising or eating right.  When I heard my doctor say, you need a knee replacement, I knew it was time.  I had heard of Nu You, but didn’t know how it worked.  I have to say my experience has been nothing short of phenomenal.  I began my weight loss journey on 7/31.  I have lost 28 pounds as of 8/28 and over 53”.  I feel so much better and my husband has commented on my energy level.  Rather than being completely worn out by 9 pm, I am still up moving around doing things after 10 pm.   Ashley has been such a great mentor and has been available any time I need it.  Having the support and excitement from the staff means everything.  I have a long journey ahead but for the first time in my life I know I will succeed!
