Chicken Egg Drop Soup

  1. Combine broth & soy sauce in a saucepan. Bring to boil over high heat. Combine corn starch, pepper & water in small bowl, whisk until smooth. Slowly whisk corn starch mixture into boiling broth. Reduce heat & simmer until slightly thickened, stirring frequently. Combine egg & egg white, whisk until blended. Slowly add to broth mixture stirring gently. Add chicken, green onions & sesame oil. Heat thoroughly. Ladle into bowls, garnish with basil.
